Mannix Heading to NJCAA Hall of Fame Scottsdale
Head Coach Regina Mannix has been selected to the NJCAA
College Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Mannix, currently in her 15th season, has the highest
winning percentage (.700) and victories (424) that any
coach at any collegiate level in Arizona. She is a three-time
ACCAC Coach of the Year (2001, 2003, 2006), a two-time
AVCA Southwest Coach of the Year (2003, 2005), and the
NJCAA District G Coach of the Year three times (2003,
2004, 2005).
Men's
Soccer: Yavapai
Wins District Title, Advances to Nationals The
Roughriders improved to 23-0-0 and won their 18th West
District Championship with a 6-1 victory over North
Idaho. Yavapai will make its 18th straight appearance
in the NJCAA National Tournament, which will be played
in Phoenix from November 20-23. Yavapai has won six
National Championships and has 16 final four finishes.

Cruises Past Phoenix for Championship #2
seed Scottsdale scored a 3-0 win over #3 seed Phoenix
to capture the 2008 NJCAA Region 1 Division II Championship.

Wins Another Region I Championship Yavapai
defeated Pima 1-0 to win its 18th NJCAA Region I Men's
Soccer Championship since 1990. The Roughriders, who
are 22-0 this season and ranked #1 in the nation, will
host North Idaho College on November 8th in the West

Eastern
Arizona Wins NJCAA Region I DI Championship Top-seeded
Eastern Arizona scored a 3-2 come-from-behind victory
over #2 Arizona Western to capture the 2008 NJCAA Region
1 Division I Championship. Eastern, which improved to
22-10 on the season, will host the District A Finals
against the Region XVIII Champion on November 11th.
