BATTER OF THE WEEK
Darrian Johnson,
Mesa
Darrian went 8-for-17 at the plate on the week and helped the Tbirds to a 2-2 record. He scored two runs and drove in three more on the week.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Justin Walker,
Mesa
Justin pitched a complete game 1-0 shutout win over Scottsdale. He scattered eight hits, walked two and struck out three in the outing. |

RJ Santigate,
Central Arizona
RJ went 7-for-12 for the week to help the Vaqueros to a perfect 4-0 week. He had eight RBI, and scored five runs in Central’s twin-bill sweeps of Chandler-Gilbert and Phoenix.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Tanner Tripp,
South Mountain
Tanner pitched eight innings, allowing just one unearned run and two hits, in a 7-1 win over Paradise Valley. He also did not walk a batter in the outing. |

Justin was 7-for-15 on the week with seven RBI and 3 stolen bases. He helped the Geckos sweep their ACCAC games with Scottsdale and Chandler-Gilbert.

Colton pitched a complete game shutout in a 2-0 win over Eastern Arizona. He allowed just two hits and struck out nine without giving up a walk. |

Tim pitched seven innings of shutout ball against Mesa, allowing just five hits and striking out six Thunderbird hitters. |

Rafael pitched eight innings of four-hit ball in an 8-0 win over Chandler-Gilbert. He didn’t walk a batter asnd struck out 10.

Gary had at least two hits in each of the Thunderbirds four games on the week. He added three runs scored and five RBI.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Bryan Word, Glendale
Bryan threw a complete game 7-0 shutout of Phoenix. He walked just one batter while sitting down four via strikeout.

Tony batted .750 (12-for-16) for the week, with five runs scored, four doubles, eight RBI, and a homerun. At one point during the week, he had hits in 11 consecutive at bats.

Jesus threw a complete game shutout victory over Arizona Western, scattering three hits and strkiing out seven Matador batters, while allowing no walks. |
