South Mountain Places 4th at NJCAA D2 Championships

South Mountain won four games and dropped two at the NJCAA Division II National Championships to place fourth. South Mountain opened with a 15-1 win over Sauk Valley before falling to LSU Eunice 7-6 in game two. South Mountain then won 9-1 over Mercyhurst, 11-6 over Heartland, and 7-2 over Pasco Hernando. Owens CC defeated South Mountain 8-7 in nine innings in the battle for third place. The Cougars’ Felicia Wilson (1B) and Sabeana Romero (3B) were named to teh All-Tournament Team.
