Offensive Player of the Week- QB Cody Sokol- Scottsdale
Sokol was 31-48 for 541 yards with 7 touchdowns, setting a new school record.
Defensive Player of the Week- CB Diondre Moore-Young- Glendale
Moore-Young was in on 8 tackles in GCC’s 56-35 win over PC. He also returned an INT 94 yards for a score, recovered a fumble and had a tackle for loss.
Special Teams Player of the Week- D.J. Johnson- Arizona Western
DJ returned two punts for scores, giving him an amazing six kick returns for TDs on the year. He returned one 95 yards and the other 57 yards. He also caught 3 passes for 61 yards.
