Steady week for ACCAC in national basketball rankings

Things held relatively steady for ACCAC teams in the NJCAA national basketball rankings for the week of Jan. 20-26.

 Among the Division I women, Central Arizona (18-3) remained at #13 despite winning twice, over Arizona Western and Mesa and running its winning streak to seven.

  In Division II women, Mesa (13-7) moved up a spot to #18 after defeating Tohono O'odham but falling to Central Arizona, both on the road. Meanwhile, Pima (14-6) fell into the others receiving votes category after stumbling twice, to Cochise and Eastern Arizona.

  Eastern Arizona (18-30 is back in the ORV category in men's Division I after slipping out last week. EAC scored road wins at Scottsdale and Pima last week.

  Among Division II men, Scottsdale (17-4) slipped from #9 to #16 following losses to Eastern Arizona and Cochise.
