Women's Basketball

Division I – Isis Smith -m Eastern Arizona – Went for 23 points in a win over Pima, going 8-13 from the floor and adding nine rebounds, two assist, two steals and a block.

Division II – Sierra Mich'l – Pima – The sophomore from Las Vegas, Nev., and Desert Oasis H.S. poured in 27 points, partially on 15-17 free throw shooting. She also had nine blocks, seven rebounds and a steal.

Men's Basketball

Division I – Shakiel Bretrand – Central Arizona – Scored 17 points in a key victory over Cochise. Also had 12 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block. He is a sophomore from Trinidad and Tobago.

Softball

Division I – Pitcher of the Week – Anisah Trieste – Pima – Pitched six innings in a win over Scottsdale, allowing no runs on just two hits while striking out 12. She is a freshman from Las Cruces H.S., in Las Cruces, N.M.

Division I – Player of the Week – Sarah Norton – Central Arizona – A freshman from Glendale, AZ, she pitched a total of 12 innings in two wins, striking out 20 and surrendering just eight hits.

Division II – Pitcher of the Week – Briana Hardy – Phoenix – The sophomore pitched three times for a total of 11.1 innings and did not allow a run. She gave up only five hits and struck out 25.

Baseball

Division II – Pitcher of the Week – Caleb Thomasson – Glendale – The freshman got a victory over South Mountain, going 6.2 innings allowing just one run and striking out six.
