Softball
Division I – Pitcher of the Week – Sarah Norton – Central Arizona – Earned her second straight weekly honor by tossing a shutout of 14th-ranked Arizona Western – It was a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts and just one walk. She is a freshman from Glendale, AZ.
Division I – Player of the Week – Mikaela Payne – Yavapai – The freshman from Albuquerque, N.M., hit .500 (6-12) in four games. She had two home runs, a double, three RBIs and scored four runs.
Division II – Pitcher of the Week – Brianna Hardy – Phoenix – The sophomore went to the mound six times during the week for a total of 29 innings. She struck out a total of 40 batters. She also hit three home runs at the plate.
Division II Player of the Week - Ali Ashner - Phoenix - In an amazing week the sophomore hit .667 (14-21) over six games with six home runs, three doubles and 17 RBIs. She also scored 13 runs and even walked four times.
Baseball
Division I Player of the Week – J.J. Rollon – Over the course of five games the sophomore from Chandler, AZ, and Skyline H.S., hit a sizzling .692 (9-13). That included two home runs, two doubles and seven RBIs. He also walked six times, scored seven runs and even stole a base.
Division II Player of the Week – Davis Cop – GateWay – In four games the freshman from Valencia H.S., in Valencia, Calif., went 7-12 (.583) with a pair of doubles, six RBIs, a walk and a stolen base.
Division II Pitcher of the Week – Zach Martinez – GateWay – Threw a three-hit shutout over Mesa. He is a freshman from Peoria, AZ, and Mountain Ridge H.S.
Women's Soccer
Division I Player of the Week – Maria Azarias – Cochise – Pumped in six goals, and had an assist in two Cochise wins.
Division I Goalkeeper of the Week – Samantha Renteria – Cochise – As the Apaches won twice she made six saves and allowed just one goal in 77 minutes of action.
Division II Player of the Week – Daisy Meza – Phoenix – Scored four goals, including a hat trick against Scottsdale. She is a sophomore from Phoenix, AZ, and Thunderbird H.S.
Division II Goalkeeper of the Week – Jennifer Alvillar – Phoenix – Picked up two wins for the Bears, making 11 saves while allowing three goals. She is a freshman from Phoenix, AZ, and Poston Butte H.S.
Men's Soccer
Division II Player of the Week - Brian Machado - Phoenix - Had a goal and an assist in a win over Paradise Valley. He is a freshman from Trevor Brown H.S. in Phoenix, AZ.
Division I Goalkeeper of the Week - Atsuki Sato - Arizona Western - The freshman from Saitama, Japan, played a total of 135 minutes without allowing a goal and making five saves.
