Men's Basketball

Division I– Evan Butts – Arizona Western – Over the course of three Matadors' wins the freshman from Houston, Texas, averaged 13.3 points while shooting .476 (10-21) on three-pointers. He also pulled down a total of nine rebounds and had five assists and four steals.

Division II– Kaset Ruiz – Chandler-Gilbert – The sophomore from Buckeye, AZ, and Tolleson H.S., averaged 16.7 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 18-29 (.621) from the floor. He also added 13 assists and seven steals.

Women's Basketball

Division I – Seairra Hughes – Central Arizona – Averaged 15.0 points and 10.3 rebounds as CAC won three times to remain undefeated. The freshman from Aurora, Colo., and Vista Peak Prep also added seven steals, six assists and two blocked shots.

Division II – Nikya Orange - Pima – In a victory over Phoenix she scored 19 points on 9-13 shooting. She also added 16 rebounds, two blocks and one assist. She is a sophomore from Tucson, AZ, and Tanque Verde H.S.
