Men's Basketball

Division I – Jay Rodgers – Cochise – As Cochise won twice the freshman from Colubus, Ohio and Nova Village H.S. averaged 24.5 points hitting 9-14 (.643) on three-pointers. He also added four rebounds, four assists, five steals and two blocks.

Division II – Unisa Turau – Scottsdale – Averaged 21.3 points over three games, including 31 against Pima. He hit 9-15 (.600) on threes for the week. In addition, he had 14 assists, nine rebounds, six steals and a block shot. He is a freshman from Phoenix, AZ, and Arizona Compass Prep. This is his second weekly award.

Women's Basketball

Division I -Christeina Bryan - Arizona Western - Over the course of three games the sophomore from St, Thomas, Jamaica, averaged 15.3 points and 7.7 rebounds as AZW won three times. Shev also had six steals, a block and an assist.

Division II – Jayla Johnson – Mesa – Selected for the third time this year the sophomore from Maricopa, AZ, and Maricopa H.S., averaged 16.0 points per game in two contests. She also had a total of 16 rebounds, six assists and one steal.

Softball – Div. I

Player of the Week – Bella Garcia – Central Arizona – Over the course of four games she hit .600 (9-15) with three doubles, a home run and 11 RBIs. She also walked twice and scored three runs. She is a sophomore from Anaheim, Calif.

Pitcher of the Week – Katelyn Woodard – Central Arizona – A sophomore from Chandler, AZ, she went 2-0 in three games and had a save in the other. In 10 innings she had a 1.40 ERA, struck out 16 and walked just two. This is her second straigh award.
