The ACCAC has announced the players of the week for baseball and softball from 3/5 - 3/11.

Baseball

Div. I Pitcher - Braden Gluth - Eastern Arizona - The freshman from Santa Teresa, NM, allowed zero runs and only six hits in seven innings pitched. Gluth also had six strikeouts and earned the victory against Mesa.

Div. I Position Player - Julius Ryan - Eastern Arizona - The freshman from El Paso, TX, had six hits, four runs, and three RBIs in 14 at-bats to help the Gila Monsters go 3-1 in last week's games.

Div. II Pitcher - Tyler Bribiescas - Glendale - The sophomore out of Liberty High School allowed just four hits and two runs in 6.1 innings. Bribiescas also had eight strikeouts and earned the victory against Eastern Arizona.

Div. II Position Player - Carson Baker - Glendale - The sophomore out of Liberty High School had 10 hits, three runs, and six RBIs in 19 at-bats. The Gauchos went 4-1 in five games last week.

Softball

Div. I Pitcher - Jessica Mercado - Central Arizona - The sophomore from Casa Grande started in two games last week and won both. Mercado allowed only four hits and had nine strikeouts as the Vaqueras defeated Glendale twice. This is Mercado's third POTW honor this season.

Div. I Position Player - Ashley Fields - Central Arizona - The sophomore from Marana had eight hits, four runs, and eight RBIs in 13 at-bats last week. The Vaqueras won all four games against Glendale and Pima. This is Fields' second POTW honor this season.
