The ACCAC has announced the players of the week for baseball and softball from 3/19 - 3/25.

Baseball

Div. I Pitcher - Braden Gluth - Eastern Arizona - The freshman from Santa Teresa, NM, allowed just four hits and zero runs in six innings pitched. He also had six strikeouts and earned the victory against Gateway. This is Gluth's second POTW honor this season.

Div. I Position Player - Devin Alvarez - Eastern Arizona - The sophomore from Sahuarita had eight hits and five runs in 16 at-bats across four games last week.

Div. II Pitcher - Jacob Anderson - Chandler-Gilbert - The freshman from Scottsdale allowed just two hits and zero runs in six innings pitched last week. Anderson also had 12 combined strikeouts and earned the save in both games against Cochise and Eastern Arizona.

Div. II Position Player - Trey Winget - Gateway - The sophomore from St. George, UT, had nine hits, eight runs, and four RBIs in 19 at-bats last week. The Geckos went 2-3 in five games against Eastern Arizona, ACU JV, and Pima.

Softball

Div. I Pitcher - Jailene Mancha - Eastern Arizona - The sophomore from Las Cruces, NM, allowed only one run and seven hits in 11 innings pitched from two games last week. She also had 17 strikeouts and won both games. This is Mancha's fourth POTW honor this season.

Div. I Position Player - Tinley Schmidgall - Arizona Western - The sophomore from Yuma had nine hits, 11 RBIs, five runs, and three runs in 15 at-bats last week. The lady Matadors went 2-2 in four games against Mesa and Chandler-Gilbert.
