DI Men's Basketball
Jordan Hernandez – Cochise – Hernandez led the Apaches to a pair of wins over Yavapai last weekend, scoring 24 points. Hernandez started the weekend by scoring 14 points in the Apaches win over the Roughriders, going 5-for-9 from the field and recording six assists. Hernandez finished the weekend with a 10-point performance on Saturday, recording a triple-double, grabbing 11 rebounds and tallying 10 assists.
DII Men's Basketball
Cohenj Gonzales – Pima – Gonzales set a season-high en route to his first Player of the Week honor of the season. Gonzales scored 44 points in a pair of games last week to help the Aztecs to two wins. Gonzales started the week with 18 points, hitting six three-pointers, in an 83-64 win over Chandler-Gilbert. Gonzales set his new season-high in the second game of the week, scoring 26 points on 8-for-13 from the three-point line in a 107-72 win over Phoenix. Gonzales also recorded six steals in the win over the Bears.
D1 Women's Basketball
Alliance Ndiba – Arizona Western – Ndiba pieced together a pair of double-doubles in the Lady Matadors' weekend sweep of Central Arizona. Ndiba scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 56-55 win over the Vaqueras on Friday. The sophomore followed up that performance with 24 points and 17 rebounds to finish off the sweep on Saturday.
D2 Women's Basketball
Talia Dial - Scottsdale – Dial scored 26 points in 42 of the 45 minutes the Fighting Artichokes played in a 73-67 loss to Eastern Arizona in overtime on Saturday. Dial went 10-for20 from the free throw line and hauled in five rebounds in the loss.
