Co-DI Men's Basketball

Tracy Godfrey – Cochise – Godfrey scored 54 points on 58.3 percent shooting in a pair of games against Eastern Arizona over the weekend. The sophomore scored 26 points in 34 minutes against the Gila Monsters in an 83-76 loss on Friday before scoring 28 points and grabbing six rebounds in the Apaches’ 89-87 win on Saturday.

Raysean Seamster – Eastern Arizona – Seamster scored 53 points and hauled in 18 rebounds in the Gila Monsters’ two games last week. The sophomore scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds in an 83-76 win over Cochise on Friday and followed that performance up with 25 points and seven rebounds in a loss to Cochise on Saturday.

DII Men's Basketball

Jaylen Wesley – South Mountain – Wesley scored 58 points last week, helping the Cougars to two wins. The sophomore guard started the week by scoring 29 points and going 17-for-19 from the free throw line while grabbing 11 rebounds in a 68-66 win over Scottsdale. Wesley finished the week by scoring 29 points on 8-for-16 shooting in a 100-89 win over Glendale.

DI Women's Basketball

Fortuna Ngnawo – Cochise – Ngnawo scored 43 points and grabbed 22 rebounds in the Apaches sweep of Eastern Arizona last weekend. The Sophomore scored 15 points and hauled in 12 rebounds in a 62-57 win on Saturday before scoring a season-high 28 points with 10 rebounds in a 58-56 win on Saturday.

DII Women's Basketball

Rylei Waugh – Waugh helped the Aztecs to two more wins last week, scoring 48 points. The freshman scored 21 points in a 78-28 win over Glendale, shooting 7-for-13 from the field, and ended the week with 27 points in 36 minutes in a 69-66 win over Scottsdale.
