DI Men's Basketball

AJ Marmolejos – Arizona Western – Marmolejos scored 51 points and played in all 85 minutes of the Matadors’ two games last week. The sophomore guard scored 32 points on 12-for-15 shooting and 6-of-7 from the three-point line in a 71-69 win over Eastern Arizona. Marmolejos finished the weekend scoring 19 points on 7-for-12 shooting in a 65-63 overtime loss on Saturday.   

Co-DII Men's Basketball

Andre Harris – Chandler-Gilbert – Harris scored 43 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the Coyotes’ two wins last week. Harris went 11-for-22 with nine rebounds in an 87-83 win over Glendale on Wednesday before scoring 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting in a 93-66 win over Mesa.

Jaylen Alexander – Pima – Alexander had 37 points to help Pima to a pair of wins last week. Alexander scored 15 points in 19 minutes in the Aztecs’ 122-81 win over Phoenix and finished the week by scoring 22 points in 21 minutes in a 117-88 win over Glendale.

DI Women's Basketball

Vitoria Santana – Eastern Arizona – Santana scored 47 points and led the Gila Monsters to a sweep of Arizona Western over the weekend. Santana scored 16 points in a 63-48 win on Friday before hitting four three-pointers and scoring 31 points while grabbing 11 rebounds in a 64-53 win on Saturday.   

DII Women's Basketball

Danay Williams - Scottsdale – Williams led Scottsdale to three big wins last week, scoring 45 points. Williams scored eight points and grabbed six boards in a 68-54 win over Glendale before scoring 19 points in the Fighting Artichokes’ 64-60 win over Cochise. Williams finished the week with 18 points and 16 boards in an 84-36 win over South Mountain.
