ACCAC Basketball Rankings - Week 10

DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Eastern Arizona dropped to 18 in the latest NJCAA DI Women's Basketball poll after losing twice to Cochise last weekend. Both games with Cochise were decided by seven combined points. The Gila Monsters are back in action on Friday, heading to Coolidge to open a weekend series with Central Arizona.

Cochise entered the polls at No. 22 after a weekend sweep in Thatcher over Eastern Arizona. The Apaches went on the road and picked up a 62-57 win on Friday before completing the weekend with a 58-56 win on Saturday. Cochise returns home to host ACCAC-leading Arizona Western on Friday.

DII WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Mesa jumped one spot to No. 5 in the newest NJCAA DII Women's Basketball poll. The Thunderbirds extended their winning streak to nine games with a 64-53 win over Central Arizona at home on Saturday after starting the week with an 81-40 win over Chandler-Gilbert.

Pima moved up four spots to No. 14 after bouncing back with a pair of wins last week. The Aztecs started the week with a 78-28 win over Glendale on the road before fending off Scottsdale 69-66 in overtime at home on Saturday.

DI MEN'S BASKETBALL

Eastern Arizona received votes in the latest NJCAA DI Men’s Basketball poll after splitting a pair of games with Cochise over the weekend. The Gila Monsters started the weekend with an 83-76 win over the Apaches before dropping the weekend finale 89-87.

DII MEN'S BASKETBALL

Chandler-Gilbert moved up four spots to No. 10 in the latest rankings. The Coyotes won two games last week and outscored the opponents by an average of 24.5 points, beating Glendale 93-70 and Mesa 70-44.

Pima stayed at No. 18 in the newest NJCAA DII Men's Basketball poll. The Aztecs scored 210 points last week, beating Glendale 1-7-73 to start the week on Wednesday and beat Scottsdale 103-70 to finish the week.
