DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Eastern Arizona moved up to No. 16 in the latest NJCAA DI Women's Basketball after pushing its winning streak to four games with weekend sweeps of Central Arizona and Yavapai.

Cochise remained in the receiving votes category after sweeping a two-game weekend with Central Arizona. The Apaches won game one in Coolidge 73-64 before finishing the weekend off with a 70-59 win.

DII WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Mesa dropped two spots in the newest NJCAA DII Women's Basketball poll to No. 6. The Thunderbirds saw its winning streak come to an end with a 69-62 loss to Pima before picking up a 90-22 win over Glendale to finish the week.

Pima moved up to No. 12 after pushing their winning streak to eight games with two wins last week. The Aztecs battled their way to a 69-62 in over fellow ranked opponent Mesa and then ended the week with a 100-50 win over Phoenix.

DII MEN'S BASKETBALL

Chandler-Gilbert jumped one spot to No. 9 thanks to a week that included wins over Scottsdale and South Mountain to extend its winning streak to six games.

Pima made a big jump, moving to No. 14 in the newest NJCAA DII Men’s Basketball poll, scoring 199 points total in wins over Yavapai and Mesa to win their seventh and eighth games in a row.
