DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Eastern Arizona stayed at No. 18 in the latest NJCAA DI Women's Basketball after sweeping Central Arizona last weekend. The Gila Monsters went on the road and picked up a 63-53 win over the Vaqueras on Friday and finished off the sweep with a 78-71 win on Saturday.
Cochise fell into the receiving votes category after being ranked 22nd last week. The Apaches started the weekend with a 60-55 win over Arizona Western before falling 51-49 in the final game of the season series on Saturday in Douglas.
DII WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Mesa jumped one spot to No. in the newest NJCAA DII Women's Basketball poll. The Thunderbirds picked up two more wins last week, starting the week with a 67-32 win over Phoenix, and then finished the weekend by holding off Scottsdale 63-59 on Saturday on the road.
Pima stayed at No. 14 after pushing their winning streak to six games with two wins last week. The Aztecs scored over 90 points twice last week, beating South Mountain 90-41 and then beating Yavapai at home 92-53 to finish the week on Saturday.
DII MEN'S BASKETBALL
Chandler-Gilbert stayed at No. 10 in the latest rankings. The Coyotes extended their winning streak to four games with a win in their line last week. The Coyotes beat Park University 91-63 on Tuesday.
Pima stayed at No. 18 in the newest NJCAA DII Men's Basketball poll. The Aztecs scored 197 points in two games last week, starting the week with a 97-81 and then outlasted Yavapai 100-90 in a win at home on Saturday.
