DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Eastern Arizona checked in at No. 13 in the latest NJCAA DI Women's Basketball poll after winning six games since the release of the last poll, pushing their total winning streak to seven games. The Gila Monsters held the opposition below 60 points in all six games which included a sweep of Central Arizona.

Arizona Western was receiving votes once again after winning all four games played since the last poll was released in mid-December. The Lady Matadors swept Cochise before beating No. 10 ranked Mesa on the road and finishing off the week with a home win over Scottsdale.

DII WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Mesa moved down seven spots to No. 10 in the newest NJCAA DII Women's Basketball poll. The Thunders birds went 2-2 over the last three weeks, picking up wins over Gillette and Chandler-Gilbert while falling to both Yavapai and Arizona Western.

Pima moved stayed 14th in the latest polls after winning four of their last six games. Pima picked up wins over conference foes South Mountain and Scottsdale while also beating Bismarck State and South Plains.

DII MEN'S BASKETBALL

Pima moved up two spots to No. 12 in the newest NJCAA DI Men's Basketball poll, picking up impressive wins over Snow, McLennan, and Cochise. The Aztecs have won six games in a row.

Chandler-Gilbert debuted at No. 17 in the latest rankings. The Coyotes have won six games in a row and knocked off No. 12 Pima at home back on December 13. Chandler-Gilbert has a rematch with Pima this Wednesday in Tucson.
