Mesa Women's Golf and South Mountain Men's Golf took home Region I titles last week at the Region I Golf Tournament. 

The Thunderbirds led the way by shooting +142, led by Mackenzie Vongphosy, who was +31 to lead all women golfers in the field. Addison King was close behind with a +35 as the second-best score from the women's side. South Mountain finished the Region I Tournament as the Region I Women's Golf runners-up. 

South Mountain posted the best team score on the men's side, shooting +18, led by ACCAC Golfer of the Year Jorge Parada, who was five under, and Jaxson Wright, a +7. Mesa came in second place, shooting +50 as a team. The Thunderbirds were led by Kush Shah at +8.
