Softball – Division I

Player of the Week

Lesly Cazeras – Pima – The freshman from Desert View H.S. in Tucson, AZ, hit .750 (12-16) over the course of six games. She had 13 RBIs and six doubles.

Pitcher of the Week

Anisah Triste – Pima – Had a 4-1 record over 27.1 innings with 44 strikeouts while allowing just ten earned runs. She is a freshman from Las Crusces, N.M. and Las Cruces H.S.

Softball – Division II

Player of the Week

Jaden Encinas – Mesa- Went 10-22 (.455) over six games. The sophomore from Volcano Vista H.S. in Albuquerque, N.M. scored seven runs, had four RBI and hit a home run.

Pitcher of the Week

Jadin Placencio – Mesa - The sophomore from Bayard, N.M.'s Cobre H.S. went 1-1 over 11 innings allowing only two earned runs while striking out 11 and walking none.

Baseball - Division I

Player of the Week

Davis Heller – South Mountain – Hit an even .500 (7-14) with four RBIs and two runs scored. He is a freshman.

Pitcher of the Week

Calvin Schapira – Central Arizona – A sophomore from Scottsdale, AZ, he tossed a no-hitter against GateWay going seven innings with ten strikeouts.

Baseball – Division II

Player of the Week –

Bryce Ulm,- GateWay – In six games he went 6-14 with two triples, a double and five RBIs. He also had six walks. He is a freshman.

Pitcher of the Week

Jordan Lussier – Chandler-Gilbert – In seven innings the freshman pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and striking out nine.
