Scoring in every inning from the fourth on, sixth-seeded Central Arizona fought its way into the loser's bracket final with a 12-8 win over No. 5-seed Crowley at the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series Wednesday.
The Vaqueros will meet the loser of a game between No. 3 San Jacinto-North and No. 4 McLennan, at approximately 2 p.m. Arizona time.
Against Crowley, CAC collected 16 hits, with three players getting three apiece: Kiko Romero tripled and had two RBIs, Seth Beckstead drove in three with his three hits and Devon Dixon drove in one. In addition, Matt Aribal homered and drove in three.
