ACCAC garners seven baseball All-Americans

  The ACCAC has collected a total of seven baseball All-Americans for the 2021 season.

  Five were chosen from the Division I schools and two from Division II members. Amazingly, all but one are freshmen.

Here is the list of ACCAC honorees:

Division I

Mat Olsen – Central Arizona – Freshman - Pitcher – First Team – 13-0, 2.13 ERA 133 strikeouts in 88.2 innings

Noah Turley – Yavapai – Freshman - DH – First Team - .417 BA, 22 HR, 69 RBIs

C.J. Valdez – Yavapai – Freshman - INF – Second Team - .411 BA, 17 HR, 62 RBIs

J.D. Mclaughlin – Central Arizona – Freshman – OF – Second Team - .338 BA, 13 HR, 62 RBIs

Hunter Olmid – Central Arizona – Freshman – Pitcher – Hon. Men. – 13-1, 3.31 ERA, 97 strikeouts, 89.2 innings

Division II

Nick Cupp-Allen – Chandler-Gilbert – Sophomore – OF – First Team - .392 BA, 13 HR, 41 RBIs

Caleb Thompson – Glendale – Freshman – Pitcher – Second Team – 8-2, 2.04 ERA, 47 strikeouts, 75 innings
