Men's basketball

Division I – No selection.

Division II – Trey Mitchell – Phoenix – In wins over Central Arizona and Pima, the 6-3 sophomore from Avondale, AZ, and LaJoya H.S. averaged 25.0 points and 6.0 rebounds. He also added 12 assists, two steals and a blocked shot.

Women's basketball

Division I – Makayla Pippin – Central Arizona – The 6-1 sophomore from Indianapolis, Ind., and National Christian H.S. helped the Vaqueras to two more wins, over Phoenix and Scottsdale. She averaged 22.0 points, including a 32-point outburst against Phoenix. In addition, she had 22 total rebounds, nine assists and seven steals.

Division II – Marlena Arroyo-Plata – Pima – In wins over Chandler-Gilbert and Phoenix she averaged 18.5 points and 12.5 rebounds. The 5-11 sophomore from Campo Verde H.S. in Gilbert, AZ, also contributed six steals, three assists and a block.
