DI WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Eastern Arizona was ranked No. 12 in the latest NJCAA DI Women’s Basketball poll after winning three games at the Gila Monster Tournament. The Gila Monsters opened the weekend with a 65-32 win over Howard before holding off Salt Lake in a 60-58 win. Eastern finished the weekend with a 55-45 win over South Plains.
Cochise split a pair of games last weekend in Hobbs, N.M., and is receiving votes in the latest poll. The Apaches started the weekend off with a 61-56 win before falling to the hosts New Mexico 69-57 on Saturday.
DII WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Mesa came in at No. 6 in the newest NJCAA DII Women’s Basketball poll after winning its lone game of the week, beating Community Christian 102-26 on Wednesday evening. The Thunderbirds have won back-to-back games.
Pima sits in the 12th spot in the latest polls thanks to a week that included two wins. The Aztecs opened the weekend with a 60-58 win over South Plains before beating Howard 69-49 the next night. Pima finished the week with a 67-60 loss to Salt Lake.

Pima is receiving votes in the latest NJCAA DII Men’s Basketball poll after a perfect week which included a 128-82 win over the No. 12 ranked DIII Dallas-Eastfield on Thursday before finishing the week with wins over Wenatchee Valley and PHH Prep.
