Phoenix took home both the Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week awards after a pair of wins during the week of Sept. 22-29.

  The Bears Anthony Bailon took home Player of the Week honors. The Phoenix North Canyon  H.S. grad scored a total of three goals in wins over Chandler-Gilbert, 4-1, and Mesa, 1-0. The MCC game was the game-winner in overtime.

  Jair Garcia, a Brophy H.S. grad from Phoenix, made two saves in preserving the MCC win. He has allowed just one goal all season and has a 0.28 goals-against average.
