A three-way tie looms at the top of the ACCAC men's soccer race as the regular season comes down to the conclusion of play Wednesday.

  Yavapai, Phoenix and Pima all have 7-2 conference records with one match to play. All three will be playing at home with Yavapai hosting Scottsdale, Phoenix entertaining Glendale and Pima taking on Arizona Western.

  In addition, a three-way fight exists for the final Region I playoff spot with Chandler-Gilbert, Mesa and Scottsdale involved.

   Part of that will be resolved when the Coyotes host the T-Birds Wednesday. SCC will try to keep its hopes alive, but must visit Yavapai.

  YC picked up wins over AZW and Pima to extend its winning streak to six. Pima, after a 5-1 win over Scottsdale, fell, 2-1, at Yavapai with Jonathan Mayen scoring twice for the Roughriders in the final 12 minutes.
