Two ACCAC men's soccer players earned NJCAA All-American awards for 2019.
Joel Sangwa, of Phoenix, was selected to the first team, and Ricky Gordillo, of Pima, was named to the second team. Both attended Maya H.S., in Phoenix, AZ.
Sangwa, a freshman defender, aided the Bears in their 13-4 season.
Gordillo, a sophomore from Phoenix, AZ, had four goals and 15 assists to help the Aztecs to a 15-4-2 record, 8-2 in conference play, and a spot in the national championship tournament. The 15 assists led the ACCAC.
