Pima is the only unbeaten team in ACCAC men's soccer with a 5-0 record.
The Aztecs stopped Arizona Western, which also had not previously lost, 2-1, scoring two goals in the first half. Zak Mohammed and Brian Vu hit in the opening 45 minutes and staved off the Matadors until the 88th minute when Michele Signirelli found the net. Juan Suarez made eight saves prior to the lone goal.
Pima then stopped Glendale, 3-0, as Seungeon Kim tallied twice in the first 13 minutes and Sam Lossou scored early in the second half. This time it was Micah Gun in the net for PCC for the one-save shutout.
AZW bounced back with a 4-0 win over Scottsdale. Gianni Honsel got the shutout, making one save in the process as Western scored all of its goals in the first half.
Phoenix won twice during the week, one easy and one tight. First came a 10-0 win over Glendale. Brian Machado scored twice and Marcos Mora had three assists. Carlos Gallardo made two saves in the shutout win. The Bears then got a goal from Mora in the 13th minute and made it stand up in a 1-0 victory over Chandler-Gilbert. Gallardo also had one save in this shutout.
Yavapai has won three in a row, two last week. The Roughriders first topped GateWay, 6-0, as six different players scored. Hudson Bodily wasn't call upon to make any saves in the blanking. YC then scored two in each half in a 4-1 win at Paradise Valley.
