Tight battle for ACCAC men's soccer regular season title

    The ACCAC men's soccer race will come down to the wire with Pima and Yavapai battling for the regular-season title. Those two will face each other Thursday in Tucson.

  Pima currently has the lead with a 7-1 record in conference play. YC is 6-1-1 in league play.

  Two other schools, Phoenix and Arizona Western, are both right in the mix with 6-2 ACCAC records.

  Pima bounced back from its first loss of the year with a 6-1 win over Scottsdale as Seungeon Kim scored the first three goals for the Aztecs.

  The Roughriders were tied by Chandler-Gilbert, 1-1, with both goals coming in the first half. They bounced back with a 2-1 win over PC as Tucker Fenton scored the game-winner in the 82nd minute.

  AZW topped Paradise Valley, 8-1, with Michele Signorelli scoring twice.
