ACCAC softball is slowly getting underway, although nearly half the conference teams have yet to play.

  Thus far, two squads have yet to lose, Mesa and Phoenix. MCC is 6-0 having taken doubleheaders from the Northern Arizona University Club and Benedictine JV last week.

  Phoenix has a 5-0 record. The Bears opened with five straight wins in a tournament at Henderson, Nev.

  Yavapai has seen the most action. The Roughriders are 6-4. They beat GateWay in a non-conference doubleheader before going 2-4 at tournaments over the weekend.

  Arizona Western has a 3-2 mark. The Matadors played five games in the tournament in Henderson.
