Yavapai is headed to the NJCAA Softball National Championships after capturing the Region I Division I championship.

  YC won its title by coming through the losers' bracket to score 10-0 and 20-4 victories over Central Arizona Saturday. The Roughriders won their second straight championship after falling to CAC Friday, 5-3.

  The national championship will be held May 24-28 in Yuma, AZ.
