Arizona Western's Ariann Pagan and Mesa's Janelle Barkey have been named ACCAC women's basket ball Players of the Week for Jan. 7, 2020.

  Pagan, a 6-0 freshman from Carlsbad, Calif., and Carlsbad H.S. helped the Matadors to an 82-79 win over South Mountain to begin the 2020 portion on the schedule. She scored 25 points on 9-14 shooting from the field and grabbed 17 rebounds.

  Barkey, a 5-9 sophomore from Buckeye, AZ, and Buckeye H.S. played a big role in MCC's 64-49 win over Pima. She came off the bench to score 16 points, hitting 7-10 from the floor and had nine points in a 52-49 loss to South Plains, ranked #2 in Division I. She added a total of 17 rebounds plus three steals and two assists.
