Coolidge, AZ – Top-seeded Central Arizona completed a perfect season in women's basketball by winning the Region I, Division I championship over #3 seed Eastern Arizona Friday, 59-48, Friday. The Vaqueras went 22-0 in the regular season and then captured two regional contests and have now won 17 in a row.

  Down 42-37 with 7:06 left, CAC went on a 15-0 run to seal the win.

  Makayla Pippin led with 17 points.

  The NJCAA Division I national championship will be held in Lubbock, Texas, beginning March 21.
