Eight ACCAC Women's Basketball players earn NJCAA All-American honors

DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL 

SECOND TEAM

Saroiya Ajomale - College of Southern Nevada - The ACCAC DI Player of the Year led the conference in scoring, averaging 19.8 points per game in her freshman season with the Coyotes, and was fourth in the conference in blocks with 43, 31 of which came during conference play. Ajomale helped guide the Coyotes to the Region I finals after upsetting the No. 1 seed Arizona Western in the semifinals. 

Naomy Zonzon-Huyghe - Arizona Western- Zonzon-Huyghe was the fourth leading scorer in the ACCAC with 15.6 points per game, the third best scoring average among DI members of the ACCAC. The freshman from France averaged 7.1 rebounds per game this past season and was ninth in the conference in offensive rebounds with 86 for the season. 

THIRD TEAM

Micayla Silas - Cochise - Silas averaged 14.7 points per game and 3.7 assists in her second season in Douglas for the Apaches, guiding Cochise to the Region I Semifinals. Silas was the second-best free-throw shooter in the country, averaging 83.9 percent from the line. 

HONORABLE MENTION

Eanae Dagons - Eastern Arizona - Dagons led the Gila Monsters to the final four of the NJCAA DI Women's Basketball Championship, averaging 8.9 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per contest as a sophomore, playing in 35 games. Dagons were eighth in the ACCAC in steals this season, recording 61 total steals. 

DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL 

Britany Kogbara - Mesa - Kogbara was the ACCAC DII Defensive Player of the Year, finishing second in the conference in blocked shots with 20 and averaging 9.5 rebounds per game to help lead the Thunderbirds to the NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Championship. Kogbara averaged 13.4 points per game this season. 

Kiley Sours-Miller - Pima - Sours-Miller was the ACCAC DII Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year after averaging 18.2 points per game in 31 games during her freshman season, the second highest average in the ACCAC. 

Ashiian Hunter - Mesa - Hunter averaged 11.9 points per game and shot 35.5 percent from the three-point line for the Thunderbirds, the fifth-best percentage in the conference. Hunter also averaged 3.9 assists per game and was fourth in total assists this season with 137. 

Vanessa Sepulveda - Scottsdale - Sepulveda was the conference's 10th leading scorer, scoring 13.2 points per game and averaging 5.1 rebounds this past season. Sepulveda led the conference in free-throw percentage, shooting 84.6 percent from the line.
