The ACCAC kicked of volleyball competition last week with a pair of matches.

  Arizona Western played the first conference match of the year, defeating Eastern Arizona, 3-1. Daniela Jimenez-Paz led the Matadors with 14 kills, while Constanza Silva-Leiva added seven for AZW. Christa Reyes had 23 digs and Mariana Donado helped with 40 assists.

  Yavapai notched the other conference victory, 3-0 over EAC. Ashley Martin led the way with ten kills and Sasha Bajek added eight. Raynee Norton contributed 15 digs and Jalyn Osborne added 13.
