Pima won its first match in the DII NJCAA consolation round with an exciting, five-set, come-from-behind win over Neosho County Wednesday.
The Aztecs even made the fifth set exciting, winning 16-14. Match scores were 19-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-27, 16-14.
Bergen Campbell led the way this time with 18 kills and a .341 attack percentage. Andrea Vigil-German added 14 kills.
Aydalis Felix contributed 19 digs and Campbell had 18. Karla Soto added 53 assists.
Pima will play the winner of the (16 seed) Potomac St. and (9 seed) Grand Rapids today at approximately 2:30 Arizona time.
