The two ACCAC women's basketball Players of the Week for Nov. 18-24 are Makaya Pippin, of Central Arizona, in Division I and Zyan Smith, of Mesa, in Division II.
For Pippin, a 6-1 sophomore from Indianapolis, Ind., and National Christian H.S., it is already her second weekly honor. She averaged 26.0 points per game, including 31 versus Mesa. She also had 8.5 rebounds per contest and added a total of nine assists. For the week she was 16-29 from the floor, a .552 percentage.
Smith, a 5-9 freshman from Mesquite H.S. in Queen Creek, AZ. had a 19.5 scoring average in two games with a high of 26 against Tohono O'odham. She had 18 total rebounds, nine assists and nine steals for the week and shot .550 (11-20) from the field.
